    Where It All Began

    Woodhead Green's story began in Houston during the excitement of the British Invasion. Co-founded by Charles Stewart at just fourteen years old, the band quickly earned a reputation for energetic performances and a genuine love of live music. While the original group eventually followed different paths, the friendships, musicianship, and passion that brought them together never disappeared. For Charles, Woodhead Green became the beginning of a lifelong career dedicated to performing, writing, and entertaining audiences.

  • A Modern Chapter

    In 2021, Charles reunited with original founding member Ross Jackson to bring Woodhead Green back to life, introducing the band's timeless sound to a new generation of audiences. Although Ross later stepped away from performing due to health reasons, his influence remains an important part of the band's story. As both a founding member and Brad Fleming's first drum teacher, Ross helped shape not only the original Woodhead Green, but also one of the musicians helping carry its legacy forward today.

    Today, Charles and Brad have assembled an exceptional group of musicians whose backgrounds include professional recording, music education, theater, jazz, country, rock, and live performance. Every member brings years of experience, technical skill, and a genuine love of entertaining, creating a band that feels as comfortable at an elegant wedding as it does on a festival stage. Together, they deliver polished performances, adaptable setlists, and the kind of professionalism that allows hosts, planners, and venues to relax and enjoy the event.

  • Charles Stewart

    Lead Vocals · Guitar

    Co-founder of Woodhead Green, Charles has spent decades performing, writing, recording, and leading bands across Texas. His career includes a Sony Music publishing deal, commercial music work, recording projects, and countless live performances at weddings, private events, and venues throughout the region.

  • Danielle Stadick

    Lead Vocals

    Danielle is an accomplished vocalist, music educator, and performer with extensive experience in choir, musical theater, opera workshops, cabaret, and live entertainment. Her powerful versatility, polished musicianship, and natural stage presence bring an exciting dimension to every Woodhead Green performance.

  • Lenny Sanchez

    Bass Guitar

    A sought-after Texas bassist since 2003, Lenny brings a deep pocket and remarkable stylistic range to the band. His experience spans country, classic rock, jazz, big band, Americana, folk, bluegrass, and studio recording throughout Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

  • Daniel Carlson

    Keyboards

    A fixture in the Houston music scene for more than 30 years, Dan combines classical training with a deep appreciation for jazz, rock, and a wide range of musical styles. His experience includes decades of live performance, mentorship under pianist Skip Nallia, music production, and remote recording projects. He brings both technical skill and a rich, expressive sound to Woodhead Green.

  • Darden Bourne

    Guitar

    Darden first began playing guitar in high school and college before returning to music alongside friends in the oil industry. Since then, he has built an impressive guitar collection and developed a performance style rooted in strong rhythm playing and expressive solos. As Woodhead Green’s newest member, he brings fresh energy, musical instinct, and plenty of guitar firepower to the stage.

  • Brad Fleming

    Drums

    Brad began playing drums at six years old under the guidance of Woodhead Green founding member Ross Jackson. He later performed with several bands before spending nearly two decades with The Rafters, recording and producing four albums along the way. His connection to Ross carries an important piece of Woodhead Green’s original musical lineage into the band today.
